The all new minty fresh "What are you up to?" thread!

Okay, so the V1 ... apparently it can accommodate a 240mm AIO, but ultimately, no. BeQuiet Pure Rock Slim 2, 2x BeQuiet 80mm fans, Noctua 200mm fan, and a Deepcool fan hub will sort him out. I think I'll also figure out a way to seal off the side panels too in order to get a wind tunnel effect going. He doesn't need the side vents because he's on the iGPU.

I am currently trying to figure out how I am going to have time to get the multitude of new computers up and running for work that I have to by July 5th. I guess I don't need sleep or time with my wife/family?

Went out to the glamper this morning to do some exterior maintenance. We had the deck stained not too long ago and it looks great, and the crew that did the staining also pressure washed the skirt, which is great, but there were some other things that had to be done. I took my pressure washer out there with me, it's a Ryobi 3100PSI unit with a Honda engine. Took various accessories with me -- the regular trigger wand, a set of nozzles (including a turbo nozzle), surface tool, pivot coupler, gutter tool, and 18' telescoping extension pole. Lemme tell ya, when that telescoping pole is extended fully with the turbo nozzle attached, that thing kicks. I really had to fight it to keep the stream going where I wanted.

I ended up pressure washing quite a few things: wood edging around the landscaping, A/C condenser coils (40 degree nozzle for this one, just wanted the cottonwood schmoo off it), A/C condenser exterior, the outdoor table/chairs, and the "valley" in the roof between the glamper and the outdoor covered seating area. I hated the roof part ... gonna leave it at that. Had to stick the 40 degree nozzle back on to get all the shit from the roof off the deck.

Grabbed the weed whacker and took care of the stuff I wouldn't be able to reach with the mower; then I got on the mower and took care of the rest.

By the end of all that, I was COVERED in dirt and grass ... but I had to pack all the stuff back in the back of the Civic and drive an hour and a half to get home and mow that lawn as well.

Now I'm beat ... did I mention it was 95 degrees outside? Yeah, it was 95 degrees through that whole situation. Humidity was only about 25% today, so heat index wasn't a factor, but still, I don't do well when it's hot. Luckily we have a fridge stocked with various beverages at the glamper, and I made sure to drink plenty of the non-alcoholic ones today. Going to head back out there with the family on Thursday or Friday for a long weekend.

<edit> "Glamper" is how I refer to what is best described as a park model log cabin that Julie and I bought at the end of last summer. It's out in the middle of fuckin nowhere, but has all the goodies -- central air/heat, double loft (one for each kid), Select Comfort bed in the "master" bedroom, full kitchen, soft water (there's an on-site treatment plant at the RV park), and best of all, no TV or internet service. </edit>

Big Grin Yeah, it's actually a trailer as it has two axles underneath it, with wheels and all, but the "park model" designation indicates that it's not suitable for normal towing like a regular camper trailer. It doesn't have a tongue or a fifth wheel hookup so I wouldn't even be able to tow it if I wanted to. Because of that I don't need to get a license plate for it either, it's regarded as a residential property. Given all the creature comforts it's a bit insulting to call it a "camper" or a "campsite" ... hence, glamper.

We "rough it" in my brother-in-law's Ice Castle fish house when we go "camping" with them up north.  It has a rooftop AC unit, stove, oven, fridge, shower, toilet, etc...

Amazon is giving away a bunch of games, including FarCry 4, if you pay for Prime. You'll have to connect whatever account it's actually on to Prime Gaming, but that's free so... More Game for the Backlog!

Well ain't that a pain in the ass ... I opened up my Switch Lite to replace the left joystick, and one of the ribbon cable connectors fuckin broke. I'm not entirely sure how that's possible, since I lifted the lever gently with a plastic tool and pulled the ribbon cable straight out of it without any upward pressure. Looks like I now need to replace the left button board entirely instead. Still cheaper than replacing a Switch Lite, though.
