What are you up to?

That's fucking awesome!

I was in cub scouts when I was like 7 or 8 years old and I remember it being really fun both to learn new things and just belong to a group. My stepdad even became a scout leader for awhile there.

Good times, and good character building!

You know those brand new TCL TVs I bought in Texas?

The 75" 4-series made it ok.
The 65" 6-series most definitely did not.

FUCK. Damn thing wasn't even 2 months old.

Yeah, saw that. Almost poured one out ... finished drinking it before I got around to it, though.

Put the quarter-rounds on the baseboards in the laundry room, installed the new light fixture, and put the new smoke detector up. Slapped some wood filler in there too, since "fix it in post" is really only something you can request on a slightly-poorly-shot film.

Really wishing I had a faster upload. At this rate, I should have everything on my unRAID box backed up to Google Drive sometime around 2025

Installed Destiny 2 on my computer since they moved it to Steam. Now I get to see if something changed and if the game no longer crashes after every single mission.

edit: Well, I haven't had the chance to run a mission yet because after the game was installed, my character couidn't move. So I spent way more time than I would have liked trying to fix that problem, and therefore haven't actually played the game. I did fix it though, so that's nice.

I'm looking at Chromebooks, specifically the Asus Chromebook Flip C434TA-DS384T. I want something smaller with a better resolution than my Dell Latitude E6330. And for the price and what I need a Chromebook fits the bill perfectly. I can connect to the VPN at work on them and thanks to their support of Android apps, I can load the official MS RDP, Skype for Business & Teams apps on it.

Upgrades my internet connection from 45 to 75 megabits. Looks like upload increased from 6 to 20 as well, which was unexpected.

Also, the furnace's heat exchanger and inducer motor decided that hey, they've had enough. So... Getting a new furnace. Fucking damn it.

Trying not to move too much, since I think I pulled a muscle (or at least made it very mad at me) at work last night.

Get good posture kids! Otherwise it'll fuck you in ways you didn't think were possible!
