Here's how this is going to work. You post specs, but of the computer you're currently sitting at. And I'm talking PCs, not phones ... that's what Spamthread 10.0 is for Wink

At the moment, I'm at work. This is the PC I'm using right now:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 (Yorkfield)
Motherboard: Gigabyte EP35-DS3P
RAM: 8.00GB DDR2
Video: MSI Radeon 4670 (passive-cooled), 512MB GDDR3
Monitors: Dual Asus VW266H and a Lilliput 7" USB display
Boot Volume: 4x Seagate ST3750528AS in RAID 10
Other Volume: 2x Western Digital WD1001FALS in RAID 1
Optical Drive: Plextor DVDR PX880-SA

<edit> Windows Experience score 6.1, limited by the boot volume. Graphics rate 6.2 for both metrics, and CPU and RAM are both 7.2.
Emerald: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black, Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite, 64GB Corsair DDR4, Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 2070 XTREME 8G, 500GB Samsung PM981, 512GB Samsung 960 Evo, 1TB Crucial MX300 SSD, 2x 6TB WD Red RAID 1, Fractal Design Define 7, Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 750W

I would, and it plays kinda nice, but it doesn't really like my laptop right now. Sound wise.

Still rockin' the same rig as above except my OS is now on two Crucial M4 256GB SSDs in a RAID0 array.

I modified the Intel Option ROM for my onboard RAID so that TRIM is enabled in RAID so I don't have to worry about any problems with SSD array.

I also upgraded the RAM to 16GB and gave the DVD burner to our home theater PC since the LG BD-RW drive can handle every burning duty I need it to.

Hmm let's see what else has changed... the monitor has been replaced with a 42" LG HDTV and the keyboard has been replaced with a Rosewill Mechanical RK9000 (Cherry Blue switches)

For the record I am still wearing the same underwear.

Desktop System
  • Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H
  • Core i5 3570K
  • Stock Intel cooler (for now)
  • Sapphire Radeon HD5770 Vapor-X (still)
  • 2x4GB Microcenter DDR3-1600 RAM
  • 2x4GB Kingstyon DDR3-1600 ECC RAM (didn't need 8GB in my server anymore so I downgraded it to 4GB)
  • Western Digital Caviar Blue 750GB HD (Windows 7)
  • Seagate 250GB HD (OS X)
  • Sony Opti-Arc DVD+-RW drive
  • Onboard Sound
  • DiabloTek Predator case
  • Rosewill 550w PSU
  • 3 120mm Blue LED fans

I'm happy with it other than the fact that my wife's 250GB Caviar Blue HD is much faster than my 750GB one. Saving up for a SSD Smile

Updated to reflect the new hard disks, additional monitor, removal of the Asus optical drive, and OS upgrade. Rest of the stuff is the same ... the i5 is still underneath a Corsair H80 Smile
