Decided to toss LineageOS on the S5, since Sammobile was/is down for maintenance, and I have the patience of a bad doctor. On the upside, it was pretty easy (though not painless), since I still had Download mode but more importantly, still had TWRP Recovery installed.

All this so I can watch some damn YT vids and play Super Hexagon when I don't have my actual phone... good lord...

Well, I found a 'fatal' flaw in the Fire TV Cube. It doesn't have built-in ethernet, so it needs an adapter. This isn't inherently bad, except for the fact that the adapter doesn't have gigabit Ethernet, only 10/100. For comparison, the Fire TV Box has built-in ethernet that is gigabit. But of course that doesn't do 4K video like the Cube does.

Both have built in Wi-Fi, which is probably pretty quick, but considering my usage case has the devices less than 5 feet away from a router, I'd rather just run a cable.

Stayed up late yesterday, got less sleep than usual, and took tonight off work because my parents are visiting and they're not vampires.

Still awake with no issue at 3:30am. Fuck.

Went to the beach today. Car's outdoor thermometer was reading 100F on the way, but it dropped to 89F when we pulled into the parking lot. Right now I'm chilling at work, quite literally. It was uncomfortably warm in the office so I turned the A/C on. Done a good 20 BIOS updates, just waiting for the last one to finish up so I can wrap it up and head home.

The only reason I've heard of that is by seeing links to the ... uh ... rule 34 version when browsing /r/all
